SS - Hole 5 : This hole can play as a par 4 for top tournaments and a par 5 for regular play. The hole is characterised by the range of hazards involved. OB, Water and large bunkering. The central bunker forces a choice from the player. To go over the bunker at 265yd carry giving a chance to go for the green in two or playing short or over the left side of the bunker leaving a tricky lay up shot short of the burn to pitch it onto the green. Into the wind this will play a tough hole.
