SS - Hole 16

SS - Hole 16 : This is another lengthy par 5 playing downwind. The fairway is quite tight and tree lined down the right hand side, and water coming in further up on the left. Accuracy is key off the tee and avoiding the long bunker complex on the left side. The gren is above the players on the approach and the landing area set in three tiers. The player must decide whether to carry the cross bunker at around 230yds carry or lay up short of that and have a full 140yds into this large green surface. The green area is backed bu gorse on the hillside that streches up behind the green and the two bunkers short right of the green will play with the depth perception of the golfer. The green is heavily undulating and falls off to the left and towards water, making the approach shot more demanding.
